Health Ministry / National Healthcare Institute
(INSALUD)
Project DIAS (Healthcare Computerisation Project). Project developed
between 1989 and 1993, constituted the computerisation of all the dependent
hospitals of the INSALUD.
In this operation, the programming, training and auditing services
were provided to Hewlett-Packard, APD and ERITEL. Also, training, support
and maintenance services were provided to INSALUD and to all the hospitals
that were computerised.
INSALUD. Technological Renovation Project
This project, which began in 1997 and was completed in 2001, aimed
to implement Hospital Licences of MultiBase to all the INSALUD dependent
hospitals. It included the development of software applications provided
by Hewlett-Packard and developed with MultiBase.
Valencia Health Service
The computerisation project for the Valencian State hospitals was completed
during 1991-1993. The training and auditing services were provided
to Hewlett-Packard and to the Valencian Health Service personnel,
who were in charge of the development and installation of the applications.

By 1992, training and auditing services were fully developed and provided
to SATEICA, who was responsible for the development and implementation
of these applications.
Galicia Healthcare Service
All the hospitals within the Galician State Health Service are now
currently equipped with development tools for UNIX and client-server
platforms. They also purchased development services, as well as maintenance,
training and auditing applications.
Ministry of Science & Technology
The tools of TransTOOLs are used for the computerisation of different
grant lines established by the Ministry. They are also used for specific
applications framed in different industrial sectors.
Ministry of Economy and Treasury Department
The Spanish Agency´s Taxes Administration Collection Department
and the Budget Division´s General Registry base their computer
systems on applications developed with MultiBase and Cosmos in client-server
architectures based on UNIX and Windows.
Ministry of Defense
The FAMET (Motorised Airborne Forces of the Army), as well as the Antiaircraft
Central Control, use different administrative applications based
on MultiBase. Due to the nature of the information managed by this
Ministry, we do not have concrete information about how the applications
were utilised.
Ministry of Justice
The Ministry of Justice´s Juridical Services employ applications
developed with MultiBase. The Civil Register of Madrid, as well as
other Register headquarters within this Ministry, also base their applications
on MultiBase.
Judicial Aid, an important computer application used within this Ministry,
was created by MultiBase under UNIX.
Ministry of Internal Affairs
Internal Affairs elected MultiBase as the corporate tool to develop
several applications for its core activities, such as immigration
movements, staying permits for foreigners, etc.
Ministry of Public Administrations
Since January 1998, Government Delegations that depend on the Ministry
of Public Administration, developed their applications using MultiBase.
Ministry of Social Affairs
TransTOOLs' products were used in the execution of the applications
developed inside the Project SIUSS (Computer System for Users of
Social Services), which has been implemented in numerous local corporations,
delegations and autonomous organisations.
Department of Public Administration - Valencia
The Autonomous Valencian Community's Local Police centres utilise Project
GESPOL, which is a software program developed to contemplate different
sections of the department: sanction, civic security, work inspections,
briefing of citizens, vehicles and agents, etc…
Thus far, the GESPOL solution has been implanted in nearly 200 City
councils throughout the aforementioned Autonomous Community.
Autonomous Community of Madrid. Directorate General
of Citizen Protection
The Autonomous Community of Madrid implemented Project Apolo with a
GESPOL solution in its Local Police centres. It has currently been
implanted in more than 150 city districts in Madrid.
Department of Education - Junta of Andalucía
The Department of Education invested in software tools to enhance the
computer laboratories in Professional Training Institutes.
